5 Ways You Can Spring To Life With Your Style

Spring has finally sprung and we can all start to feel like we are finally coming out of the haze of a cold and harsh winter. However, what we can also find at this time is that we desperately need some attention before pulling out our spring attire. Winter doesn’t necessarily mean don’t you take care of yourself, but your skin can take a hit, you cover up a lot more, and things can go a little amiss. I wanted to share with you some of the ways you can spring back to life with your style and look. I hope it gives you the motivation you need to make some changes ready for the warmer seasons ahead.

 

Revamp Your Skincare Routine

One of the major things that takes a beating in the colder weather is your skin. It can really dry out or  struggle in terms of its elasticity and condition. Now is the ideal time to really revamp your skincare routine. It might be that you want to change your moisturizer, maybe add a new face wash into the mix, or just develop a three step process for each morning and night to ensure that you cover all the bases with you skin. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed, I recently incorporated a new eye mask into my routine to look more lively.

Give Your Hair Some Love

Just like our skin can be affected, so can our hair thanks to cold temperatures it can really dry out. So maybe now would be the time to show your hair some love. Maybe investing in new products or doing some research might help you decide. A week ago today, I went in for a Brazilian Keratin Treatment and I couldn’t be happier! Reading things like monat reviews or reviews from other brands may help you to decide on which products might suit your hair type and style.

Invest In A Capsule Wardrobe

If you haven’t, you can start to think about the clothes that you are wearing. This has been a life saver for me this spring, but how about investing in a capsule wardrobe? This will allow you to only have pieces you love and to mix and match them (assuming they coordinate). You really only wear a hand full of items from your closet each season anyway!  I am still gathering items for my capsule, but there is more online on how you can create your very own capsule wardrobe.

Give Your Feet Some Attention

Your feet will have been in socks and boots all winter no doubt, and if you’re like me, some days you skipped “lotioning” them. So, it may be time to consider giving them some attention. Book a pedicure or even perform one at home IF you really can’t get into the salon. It can help you to feel more confident, especially when you want to officially pull all of your sandals out!

Take Better Care Of  Yourself Physically

Finally, it may be the time to take better care of yourself in terms of exercise and your diet. We can all be guilty of reaching for the comfort food when it is cold , but it’s time to embrace the salads and  drink more water.  With better weather,  you can get outside and walk a little if you didn’t workout during the winter  months.
