Aside from working on our inner confidence and self-esteem levels, there are few quick things (and yes, some people might say superficial things) that have been proven to make us feel like a million bucks. Wear Your Favorite Perfume

Not all of us are masters at remembering (or wanting to) put on a quick spray of our favorite scent before we leave the house or just to perk us up a little. Smell is one of our strongest senses, and as such, if you have a favorite scent, you should be using it liberally. A study found that actually, 90% of women felt more confident if they had sprayed a few pumps of their favorite scent.

 

Dance Like No One Is Watching

We all have music genres that we love! The bass, the beat – just everything. Put on a pair of headphones or turn the speakers up and dance. Not only are you likely to break a sweat and get those endorphins flowing, but you may get a subconscious boost of power.

 

Smile

I don’t mean because you’ve been heckled in the street and told to smile more. Just the act of smiling can stamp out feelings of stress, and it helps if you have been taking care of your oral health with some Pearly Whites, so you aren’t opposed to giving your biggest smile.

Prepare Your Mind

Visualize yourself conquering certain situations. Experts believe that if you focus on your end goals, and even a walk-through of how you wish to accomplish it in your head, you are more likely to go into the situation confidently. You are basically getting your brain prepared to carry out all of the tasks that lead to the end. You can throw in a few positive affirmations to repeat if you need a boost, too. This wires your brain to think positively about the subject, and you will feel more in control.
